The Scottish Licensee's Certificate (off-sale) is a nationally recognised qualification designed to meet training criteria required of anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol on off-licensed premises. It is supported by pub operators and retail companies as well as the Scottish brewers.

How long is the training course, where can I take it, and how much will it cost?
The qualification has been designed to be delivered in one day (although this may vary between centres) and includes a short multiple-choice examination. A comprehensive handbook, presented in an easy-to-follow format, supports the qualification and covers all the information required to complete the examination. Course prices are set by each BIIAB approved centre; the examination fee is £36.00.
