Significant Savings for Trainers from Re-Launched BII Membership Category

For as little as £79 per year, providers of training to the hospitality sector can save thousands of pounds on training room hire, stationery, books and equipment, thanks to a category of membership being re-launched by BII, the professional body for licensed retail.

By joining as a Training Professional category member (MBII.tp), trainers can achieve professional recognition and status as well as savings on relevant products and services. They will instantly have access to must-have savings on stationery, room hire, books, resources and equipment, as well as discounts on training courses such as IT and time management.

These benefits are over and above the standard support services enjoyed by other grades of BII membership, which include free helplines for legal advice, financial advice, HR advice and energy savings, a free monthly magazine and discounts on a range of business and personal products and services.

Applicants for MBII.tp must be currently operating as professional trainers of qualifications in the hospitality sector. Eligibility is dependent upon a scoring system in which points are allocated based on qualifications and experience. After a minimum of one year as a MBII.tp, trainers could be eligible to upgrade to Fellow (FBII.tp).

Existing BII members interested in transferring to MBII.tp can transfer free of charge provided they meet certain criteria.
