Best Bar None (BBN)

Best Bar None is a recognised award scheme supported by the Home Office and aimed at promoting responsible management and operation of alcohol-licensed premises.

It was developed and piloted in Manchester in 2003 and found to be a huge success, with premises now competing to participate, improving the night time experience in their town centres.

It has since been adopted by many towns and cities across Europe, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
