BIIAB Level 1 Award in Introduction to Employment in the Hospitality Industry
This qualification has been designed for people who have not worked in, or need a refresher in hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism, and are looking to secure an entry level job.
It is designed to equip learners with relevant industry knowledge and understanding of job roles and skills, as well as the confidence and motivation to quickly adjust to their chosen role
It includes Level 2 Food Safety and Health and Safety qualifications.

Unit 1 - Introduction to the Hospitality Industry
Unit 2 - Food Safety in Catering
Unit 3 - Health and Safety in the Workplace
Unit 4 - Principles of Customer Service in Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism
Unit 5 - Introduction to Personal Workplace Skills
The units are assessed using a combination of internal and external assessment. The assessment will be based upon the achievement of all of the specified Learning Outcomes.
