This qualification is for you if you have no experience of working in the Hospitality industry and which to achieve a high standard of customer and drinks service.

Details

The qualification comprises of 7 units:

  • The activities required to prepare a bar for service and how to complete them.

  • The standards of dress and personal hygiene required of a professional barperson.

  • Basic merchandising and selling techniques and how to achieve the ‘perfect serve’ to maximise customer satisfaction.

  • Basic law in relation to age restricted sales and activities, smoking, the duty to refuse service and trading standards.

  • The importance of customer service and how this can be delivered.

  • How to keep information and the premises secure.

  • The activities required to close a bar at the end of service, and how to complete these safely and efficiently

 

Assessment: 25 question multiple-choice examination.
